Yusuf Odekunle is the Founder and CEO of Grinpay, a cross-border financial platform focused on improving currency exchange and payment accessibility across African markets. He holds a degree in Banking and Finance from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, and completed advanced coursework in Finance at the Kogod School of Business in the United States. He also completed coursework in Data Analytics with a specialization in Finance at the University of the Potomac before continuing his academic journey in Health Informatics. His research and travels across West Africa led to the establishment of Grin Trading Solutions, which later evolved into Grinpay with a vision to build accessible, secure, and scalable financial solutions for emerging markets.
Alade Oluwapelumi
Alade Oluwapelumi is the Brand, Marketing & Growth Lead at Grinpay, where she oversees brand positioning, marketing strategy, user engagement, and growth-focused initiatives across African markets. With a strong background in brand strategy, content marketing, and creative directing, she plays a key role in shaping how Grinpay connects with users through clear messaging, creative campaigns, and culturally relevant brand experiences.
Known for her strategic and audience-centered approach, Oluwapelumi contributes to the company's visibility and expansion by leading marketing initiatives that strengthen brand trust, improve user engagement, and support market growth. Working closely with the leadership and development teams, she supports the company's mission of building accessible, modern financial solutions designed for emerging African markets.
Zainab Adekunle
Zainab Adekunle serves as the Operations & Administration Lead at Grinpay, where she oversees internal coordination, administrative structure, and operational support processes. She holds a degree in Hospitality and Tourism from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, and has experience spanning travel consulting, client relations, business operations, and executive support. Through roles in operations coordination and customer engagement, she has contributed to improving service delivery, client satisfaction, and organizational efficiency. At Grinpay, Zainab supports operational management, team coordination, and process organization as the company continues building accessible financial solutions across African markets.
Olutayo Ogundele
Olutayo Ogundele is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Finance & Technical Oversight Lead at Grinpay. He holds a First-Class degree in Accounting from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and is a recipient of the ICAN Diamond Scholarship and MTN Foundation Scholarship. With experience in financial management, supply chain coordination, logistics, inventory management, and ERP system administration, Olutayo brings strong operational and analytical expertise to the team. At Grinpay, he supports financial oversight, technical coordination, compliance awareness, and process improvement initiatives, contributing to the platform's structured growth and operational efficiency across emerging financial markets.
